The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has warned Nigerians against paying agents to obtain passports.
In a post on Twitter, NIS emphasised that individuals can easily apply for and pay for their passports online without needing an intermediary.
The announcement is part of the agency's ongoing campaign to streamline the passport application process and reduce corruption.

According to the NIS, Nigerians who need international passports can visit passport.immigration.gov.ng to complete the application and payment process online.
